Preparation For Delivery Of Sod

Soil Preparation - Follow the these steps for proper soil preparation prior to installing sod. This will ensure your turf has a healthy head start and will grow to meet your expectations.

Kill or cut out all grass or weeds.

Clean and rough grade area where sod is to be placed. Slope the grade 1 to 2 degrees from structures. Remove all construction debris, brush, large roots, rocks, weeds and tree stumps.

Have an analysis of the soil performed. Soil Analysis will reveal the pH level of the soil. Adjust the pH level of the soil if necessary.

Install irrigation if required.

Perform final grading.

After sod has been delivered the establishment period begins.
